What constitutes a great travel watch?
Robust build and decent water resistance are a must. An under-the-radar quality won’t hurt as it lowers the risk of being scouted by prying eyes. But most of all, there has to be an additional element of multi-functionality.
This Nivada Grenchen says it all in its name — the Travelmaster.
This piece features a 36mm stainless steel case with a rotating split-bezel display and a twin-crown configuration. The crown at two o’clock manages the alarm function while the crown at four o’clock handles the date and time. Topped off by a domed acrylic crystal and powered by a manual-winding A. Schild Calibre 1568 movement, this piece features a lightly patinated, luminous silver dial with applied ‘block’ indices. A matching ‘black line’ handset, a framed date window at three o’clock and a red-arrowed alarm indicator hand.
Complemented by a blue leather strap with white contrast stitching, this piece has all the makings of being a solid travel companion.
Who needs that hotel wake up call when you can have this NG Travelmaster buzzing away to wake you from your slumber.
This is the ‘Analog’ way!
