Vintage Chinoiserie Asian Opium Pillow Planter

Preppy pink and green with a touch of yellow on a white porcelain background, this beautiful Chinoiserie opium pillow makes the perfect addition to your decor. It has a lovely Asian scene on both sides, and openings on the side. These pillows were used in Opium dens in China from the 19th century onwards. People would put their money and valuables in the pillow through the hole, and would lay down to smoke their opium. Add this piece of history to a table or shelf and hide your valuables.
